Three
“secret” spots
you should know:
New Asian BBQ for dim
sum, Sushi Hiroyoshi for a
premium experience that’s
not too bad on the wallet,
and Taiwan Deli for a
taste of my family’s
roots.

I made one of the most significant decisions of my life when
I moved to Las Vegas in 2006.
I never imagined the growth
it would experience over the
next two decades. What truly
surprises me is that with so
many new restaurants, bars, and
entertainment venues, the city
still maintains its “small town”
feel. It’s a place where you
can always run into a familiar
face and it makes you feel like
anything is possible.
People often ask, “What’s
your favorite spot?” The best
part about living here is that you
never have “one spot,” because
there’s so much outstanding
food everywhere. Some spots
that never fail? Mott 32, Partage,
Barry’s Downtown Prime, Bazaar Meat, Kame Omakase, and
Papi Steak. Another spot that
never misses is Shang Artisan
Noodle. Their popular dishes,
such as Beef Noodle Soup,
Dan Dan Noodles, and Spicy
Wontons, consistently draw
crowds, and it’s budget-friendly.
Lunch or dinner for one is less
than $20, and the portions are
generous!
For craft brew and sushi,
Cin Cin Brewhouse in the Arts
District makes a ton of great
beers and serve elevated bites,
like sushi and seafood instead of
the usual wings and fries.
