Vegas loves a gimmick. Such is the
case with the “speakeasy.” Over the
last decade, bars and restaurants
with hidden doors, passwordprotected entrances, and classic
craft cocktails have popped up all
over the city, referencing an era in
the U.S. before the repeal of
Prohibition in 1933, when
bootlegging reigned. While Las
Vegas boomed after Prohibition,
historical accuracy ain’t got nothing
